Date reservations, decor rentals, venue access & strike guidelines across Dallas–Fort Worth
Transparent & Fair Event Partnership
These terms outline our commitments to you and ensure seamless coordination between our floral styling team, your celebration venue, and your vendors on your special day.
1. Date Reservation & Retainer Deposit
To guarantee that Hummera and our installation team reserve your celebration date exclusively on our DFW calendar:
- A non-refundable 50% retainer deposit and a signed digital agreement are required to lock your event date.
- Inquiries or verbal requests do not hold a date until the deposit is processed.
- The remaining 50% final balance is due fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the scheduled event date.
2. Rescheduling & Cancellations
We understand plans may change due to unforeseen circumstances:
- Rescheduling: Clients may transfer their retainer deposit to an alternative date within twelve (12) months, subject to Homi ZR calendar availability, provided notice is given at least thirty (30) days in advance.
- Cancellations: In the event of a cancellation less than fourteen (14) days prior to the event, the full contracted balance remains payable as custom floral procurement and inventory scheduling have already concluded.
3. Venue Coordination & Setup Logistics
To ensure your stage and floral arches are styled to absolute perfection before guests arrive:
- Our styling team requires a minimum 2 to 3 hour load-in window prior to guest arrival or photographer entry.
- We coordinate directly with your banquet director or wedding planner regarding freight elevator access, loading zones, and late-night strike schedules.
- If your venue requires standard vendor paperwork or documentation prior to setup, our team coordinates it directly with venue management.
4. Texas Weather & Outdoor Setups
For outdoor events across Dallas–Fort Worth:
- The client must provide a sheltered backup location (rain plan) in case of severe wind, torrential rain, or extreme heat exceeding safe operational parameters.
- Homi ZR reserves the right to make emergency adjustments to outdoor floral structures to guarantee the safety of your guests and staff.
5. Rental Inventory Care & Teardown (Strike)
All floral arches, faux and hybrid stems, custom backdrops, pedestals, settee sofas, and glass hurricane candleholders are rental items belonging to Homi ZR Atelier:
- Same-night teardown (strike) is included in your package price up to 1:00 AM.
- Any loss, theft, or substantial physical damage to rental pieces caused by guests will be billed to the client at replacement cost.
6. Limitation of Liability & Force Majeure
Neither party shall be held liable for failure or delay in performance caused by severe weather emergencies, official government road closures, power grid failures, or Acts of God. In such rare events, Homi ZR will work in good faith with the client to apply deposits toward a rescheduled celebration.
